Ina Adele Ray (aka Adele) is a mixed-race, Vietnamese and American filmmaker based in Oakland, CA. She has worked in film and video production in both the commercial and non-profit worlds as a producer, director, and editor for over 20 years.
Adele directed and produced a short VR documentary called, The Red Room Project, that has shown at select venues internationally. She is currently developing a personal documentary about her mixed-race identity and trans-generational trauma within her own family titled, From Descendant to Ancestor. She is also wrapping up a short documentary called, Interpreting Freedom, about an Afghani interpreter for the U.S. Special Forces who now works as an Uber driver in the States.
